UNIVERSITY PLANNING AND PLACEMENT
The KSA Academy university Planning and Placement Department works with all IMG Academy Student-athletes and families to create an individualized roadmap for reaching their goal of studying and playing their sport at the collegiate level. this work begins when a student enters high school (grade 9) and incorporates families, coaches and both university admission and athletic staff in our efforts.
We provide academic and athletic guidance for our students so they can obtain a full scholarship from the university of their choice
We communicate with parents and include them in many of our student meetings
We coordinate recruiting efforts, call coaches, arrange try-outs, search universities perform analysis and negotiate scholarships
We facilitate NCAA rules and eligibility education and serve the entire community as our NCCA compliance resource

UNIVERSITY PLANNING
We work with students in grades 9 and 10 in group setting. Students in grades 11 and 12 receive both individual counseling and specially designed group meetings throughout the year.
Resources such as the Naviance Family Connection (an online counseling tool), College Board, admissions visits, and college fairs to name just few, are invaluable in this process.
ATHLETIC RECRUITING
Using the expertise of each of our selected college athletic recruiting liaisons, we connect our student-athletes with numerous university- and college-coaches using a combination of technology, campus based events and international competitions.
Each sport at KSA Academy has at least one college athletic recruiting liaison. These liaisons will work with the college advisors to guide students through the recruitment components of the overall college selection process. We ask all students and parents to take an active role in the recruiting process.
NCAA COMPLIANCE EDUCATION
The college Planning and Placement Department works to educate each student, family, coach and staff member with the nuances of NCAA eligibility. The NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) is made up of college and university member institutions, which develop and implement rules and regulations to determine participation and protect fairness in every sport. Our staff offers educational workshops, monitors academic certification, tracks recruitment activities and oversees amateurism issues so that students, parents and college coaches can have full confidence that an KSA Academy graduate will have a complete understanding of rules in place that govern their eligibility to play at the next level.
